This week’s theme is STRING(S).

Initially I was stumped and racked my brains thinking where the heck did I have string(s) to photograph?

Although my garden is a small “city garden”, it’s big enough for lots of flowers and even a small crop of corn.

So here’s my string photo: corn silk on the stalk. Hopefully, I’ll be harvesting the “crop” before long. Who knows, maybe I’ll get one or two cobs out of the field — if I’m lucky.

Here’s a few thumbnails of the same corn silk. Click on the thumbnails for the larger photo.

Hi Larry. Nice choice. I think it’s great to have homegrown corn.

Nice shots. I think it’s great to have home grown corn. We plant sweet corn in our farm and harvest time is always exciting.
