I’m back
This week’s theme is SELF (or part of self).
Here’s part of me — the largest part and still growing!
Here’s the entire image of me below — me and my good old ragtop on the road again. This was one of many pee stops along the route someplace near Revelstoke, BC.
I disconnected myself from all things computer for over three weeks if you can imagine that!
Got in my car and went on a driving trip from my home in Vancouver to Regina, Saskatchewan (where I was born and raised. Here’s a PDF file of my childhood neighbourhood!)
It’s a good three day road trip through the Rockies, then through miles and miles of prairie.
Just to give you a bit of perspective of what real prairie looks like, the photo below is of the main street of Arcola, Saskatchewan.
I’m glad to be back home in Vancouver. Road trips to visit family are fun but it’s always good to sleep in my own bed again.

Sounds like you had a perfect break. But wait! No computer all that time? That’s serious cold turkey!
Yes, I do like he belt.

Larry! Good to see you blogging again. I agree with you on getting away…and the ‘no computer’ sounds like a piece of heaven. I need to do the same someday real soon.
Happy weekend.

Nice panoramic shot. I’ve never been to Arcola, but a lot of bloggers hail from there.

Welcome back Larry!
I had a friend who lived out by the Rockies. Beautiful scenery.
