Getting the finger takes on new meaning
I had a great visit with my Aunt and cousin this week. We laughed and shared many family stories. I always find it interesting how each of us remember family events differently.
My cousin always teases me about my famous “leap on the bed” incident when we were kids. Unfortunately, my cousin was hiding under the bed holding up the mattress springs with a straight arm.
My leap onto the bed snapped my cousin’s arm quite easily. Even today, I think she enjoys pulling up her sleeve to point out exactly where the break in her arm was.
At dinner, I used my oversized diamond ring napkin rings. My aunt, the first in the family to have pierced ears (gasp), promptly put the napkin ring on and posed for a photo.
Need I say more about one “getting the finger”?
