This week’s theme is HIGH.

Have you ever imagined what your “dream house” might be like? I found mine HIGH up in the range of mountains near Whistler Village.

As I live in Vancouver just six blocks from the ocean at sea level, my dream home is about 675 metres/2,214 feet above sea level. At that elevation, I would be living at an elevation over a mile high.

If you want a real HIGH, the highest lift access elevation for downhill skiers is 2,284 metres/7,494 feet (about 1.4 miles).

This house was built about three years ago and has never been occupied. The last listing price I saw for the place was a measly $7.4 million.

I’ve never been inside, but look at that wrap-around veranda. I imagine the small peaked room high at the top of the house is like a “crow’s nest” — that would be my “imagination” room where I could dream and visualize without any restrictions.

It’s important to have a place where your internal censor shuts up and doesn’t tell you your ideas are wild and not achievable. My philosophy is that anything is possible if it is a goal you truly desire.

I’ll let you know the moving date as soon as I can!

I just want people to THINK it’s not occupied. Don’t make me call security on you Larry, if you keep loitering outside of my gates.

Just use the intercom, I’ll let you in. If I don’t answer, I’m probably out, so try again later on OK?

(LOL @ security picture = fortune)

    It’s mine….it’s mine I tellya!!! All mine….I’m greedy.

[seriously, it’s gorgeous from the outside…just wonder what good things are found indoors!]

But, the elevation isn’t much….remember I lived in the colorado mountains…over two miles high in some areas.

Sorry I’m so late in visiting with you — been a hectic last few days.
