My annual reminder

Some of you may be familiar with my annual January 17th Birthday Countdown Contest.
This year, I’ve decided to hide a clue word in every post starting with this one and continuing in every post up to January 17.
To participate in my January 17 Birthday Countdown Contest, just find the clue word in the post and add your comment to the post. Your comment can be as brief or as long as you like.
Don’t reveal the clue word as that would just make it too easy for other players. On January 16, I’ll invite everyone to send me an e-mail with the clue words you’ve found.
The person who finds the most clue words and adds a comment to the post where the clue word originates will be in the running for a super prize. Your comment can be brief but the prize winner will be determined not only by the number of clue words found but as well as a comment from that person on the post with the clue word. If more than one player finds the most clue words and comments, a winner will be chosen by me at random from those meeting the contest requirements.
Now, I hope all that makes sense to everyone.

John - yup, it is a personal contest although it seems like you’re the only one playing so far! Prize has varied over the last three years but can assure you it’ll be something useful.
