This Saturday’s theme is SHADOW(S).
I missed last week so have chosen the obvious for this week’s theme. The interplay of light and shadow with pictures of Maxine and of the late, but never forgotten Trixie-Belle.
Trixie had many poses in the shadows of the garden. In some places she crouched in a leopard pose. Among the hostas, she would be flat and spread out like a pancake. That’s where she cooled herself when it was a hot day. Sure do miss that little girl Trixie-Belle. She was a headstrong cat who always cast a long shadow no matter where she was.

You take beautiful photos of your pet. I’m so sorry about Trixie: I think I see how she could be a handful of cattitude. But those are the best cats, aren’t they.

Your schnauzer is beautiful!! All my life, I’ve grown up with miniature schnauzers and I just love them! Great pictures for this week’s theme

The contrasts of light and darkness in Maxine’s pictures are really neat. I’m sorry for Trixie-Belle’s loss, but glad you have some nice pictures and pleasant memories.

Maxine looks furry lovely wif shadows, fer a woofie. But Trixie - OOOOO LAAAA LAAAAA! MEEE-OOWWW! how come Trixie doesn’t have her own bloggie?!

Sorry for the loss, Trixie does look like the kind of cat that would cast a long shadow. I was going to use one of my dog but whenever I get close to her with the camera she would walk away as if she knew that I was going to use her.

THe first one is a great shadowy one.
Our dog is very old and I’m dreading the day he goes. Pets play such an important part in our lives don’t they?
