This Saturday’s theme is HAIR. Yes, that’s me in the above photo with hair or more correctly, lack of hair, which has long since gone.
During my teen years, I envied my best friend who flipped his blond hair which then fell into a neat side part and bang just like that. Me? I had curly do-nothing hair that made a nice little ‘fro but that’s about all.
Okay, I’m not sensitive anymore about my LACK of hair. What bugs me most though is the guys who have full heads of hair who shave it to the scalp. What’s up with that?
Here’s a brief chronological look at me and my hair as it receded over the years. However, note that not once did I ever try the all too ugly comb-over!

Great take on our theme this week. I think that as we change (age) our entire self changes. You know what they all say… we only get better with age.

They’re all scary wigs. I would stick to the baldness or a baseball cap.

OK now you men have to stop this. Why is it that hair is so important when bald is so sexy? You are *very* good-looking (seriously are). Hair would ruin your look.
And as for picking a wig: the 2nd from the left on top would make you look like Peter Sellers in Pink Panther. Just a note for next Halloween.
I wish I were going on your trip the Avignon chateau. The Peter Malles (?) books make me want to live like he did in Provence. But I will never eat a truffle. Literary romantic I am.

*clapping* I’m proud that you did not give in to the comb over that so many men do. Don’t they realize they’re not fooling anyone? LOL!
I like the grey short toupee the best. It actually looks pretty real! Not that you’re old enough to have grey hair!

you’re too, too kind — I can spot a toupee from a mile away so just like the combover, won’t be seeing any wig perched on my pate that’s for sure!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Thank goodness you didn’t try the comb-over. I love the toupees… I think I like the lower middle one the best… gives you a “wise” look… kind of like Noah.

Great hair pics! I think your hair looked great over the years! And as for the photoshopped versions, I think the dreads look the coolest. :o)
