Can you guess who the artist of this work is?

This Saturday’s theme is ART.

The billboard above was an art installation that was part of a sculpture exhibition held in Vancouver this past year. The billboard rotated similar phrases.

Is it art? Is it art because it was created by Yoko Ono? Art is subjective but I think it should be affect the viewer in some one. Does Yoko Ono’s billboard set off any tingles in me? I don’t think so.

Here’s a few more subjective pieces of art I picked from my stash of photos.

This is a copy of a newspaper article. There was an expressionist art exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery and my friend Francine was photographed taking in the pictures. It's one of my favourite photos.

Me waving from a bridge on the river Seine in Paris. The sculptures are magnificent and the patina is verdigras.

Me standing in front of a frog statue in Sedona, Arizona. Is this sculpture any more art than the upside down house?

This is a plaster replica of Michelangelo's David in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. That's me standing at the base of the plaster replica.
