This Saturday’s theme is Drink. At my friend Anar’s birthday party, there was a delightful non-alcoholic punch fountain set up.
However, early in the evening the children at the party decided it was more fun to stick their faces under the punch spouts and drink directly from the fountain. Yikes, stayed away from the punch after that. The birthday girl was my friend Anar (originally from Pakistan) and we all learned how to dance “Bollywood” style. What a hoot that birthday party was.

I’ve seen these fountains at weddings but not a birthday party. I’ve seen the chocolate ones too, now they can really be messy! Welcome to the hunt.

I think I’m having a major brain cramp… you are not new… you are one of the first who said welcome to me when I joined up. Sorry.

As a kid, I bet I would’ve wanted to stick my head right under the spout, too! I bet they had fun, too!

If I was a kid I would probably do the same, but since I’m 47 I will just smile at the things kids do. Never a dull moment when you are young. Punch is a great drink, I love Hawaiina Punch from concentrate, my mom makes it so good.

Great idea for theme this week. I just visualized the kids tying to drink the punch from that fountain sans cups. Next time I see one I’ll have to be first in line - before the kids.

That sounds like great fun! (Except for the kids in the fountain! yuck!) I’m glad the full blogroll is back up so I could see you (even if it is a week late!)
