Ted bucks up and straightens out in three weeks
Remember Ted Haggard, the disgraced evangelical minister? If you need to refresh your memory, I posted an entry about him before.
How Jon Stewart manages to skewer people with such pin-point accuracy is amazing. He’s more honest than any 6 o’clock reader-head lamely telling me what the “news” of the day I need to know.
Watch this clip from one of his recent shows and notice how he delights in reporting this is “sad news for the gays.” His emphasis on the words “the gays” tells more about his opinion on the issue than any sixty minute in-depth profile might do.
