Blogging Fusion creates new alliances
There’s a new blog directory hot off the virtual presses called Blogging Fusion.
It’s a spam free, human edited database of some of the best blogs in the blogosphere. Blogging Fusion editors approve all submissions prior to approval. Bloggers are requested to have one month blogging history before they submit. Submissions are free though Blogging Fusion does offer paid submission.
Users can browse the most popular blogs, latest blogs added, look for blogs tagged with a specific phrase, or seek specific blogs within the Blogging Fusion database.

The sign up process wa a bit confusing. They need to be more clear on the part where you need to enter your URL the second time just under the categories.
I just took a wild guess at what goes in there on the second try.

I agree with MacBros the sign up process was a little different. Took me two times to get the process going. Cool idea however.

Scott and Mac that’s been fixed now.
Thanks Larry!

How does it compare in quality with http://9rules.com/?

9rules.com is a site containing content from independent authors where Bloggingfusion.com is a blog directory where bloggers can submit their blog for more exposure. Why are we comparing here?

Rose, thanks for the clarification in response to Pearl’s query about the two sites. From your comments, it appears to me the two sites are quite different and not really comparable. Again, thanks for helping out with this Rose.

I don’t grasp the general picture. I don’t know what I’m looking at. It’s not exactly an index or portal but “directory” doesn’t mean anything to me.
9 rules seems to be moderated and syndicated on the basis of past performances and blogging fusion is a model where you submit particular content to a magazine format?
Blogher and these don’t seem to be group blogs, nor aggregators exactly.
That’s what I’m trying to get under.

Blogging Fusion is a blog directory. A blog directory is an index of blogs. Bloggers can submit to the directory to get more traffic for their blogs. You do not submit content to Blogging Fusion. You submit your blog link.

I see.
