Writing for your Blaudience
Confused by some of the blog slang thrown about? Clueless about blog terminology? Crying for someone to just define those terms so you don’t look like a blogidiot?
Rose Desrochers has put together a Blogging Terms Glossary: Blog Terminology.
If you’re a new blogger, this list is indispensible information. If you’re a seasoned blogger, you might pick up some new blogging jaron to toss out at those fabulous cocktail parties you attend.
As Rose notes, some of these words are a portmanteau of two common words. My favourite portmanteau is “Blurker” – one who lurks around blogs but doesn’t leave comments.
Most writing texts emphize the importance of writing for your audience. The same is true of blogging. Successful weblogs know their blaudience and write for them so that they will return.

Heard that before but didn’t know what it meant. Thanks for the link.
