Say you love me

I just came across the perfect way for you to send me your affection.

Click on “Send me a Valentine” in the graphic. You’ll be taken to my special Valentine in-box where you can leave me your personal and confidential message.

I won’t be able to access your sweet, love thoughts until Valentine’s Day. So I ask on bended knee, don’t leave my Valentine in-box empty.

On that note, have schools discouraged the exchange of Valentine cards?

I remember my excitement with Valentine’s Day because you always had to “punch out” the individual cards from one large sheet. I’d usually get too excited and end up with fuzzy edges on my cards. If there were too many different greetings on the cards, I would deliberate for hours which card matched up with which friend in my class.

I’d be so anxious about how many I would receive I usually would toss and turn the night before Valentine’s Day. There was always that one girl in class I knew I could depend upon. She always gave me the mushiest Valentine card possible.

On the playground with great bravado, I’d join the other boys and we’d shake off the “girl fleas.” Then I’d go home and put my valentines on my pillow and count them over and over.

Sometimes I woke with a Valentine card stuck in my ear but it was always a reminder that someone cared.

There’s not much time left to leave your on-line Valentine message for me and tell me you care.
