Post about my peeps
It’s one of those Vancouver October Saturdays — overcast, some spitting rain, warmish but I still take a jacket going out “just in case”. That kind of day.
Found Kenneth the puree cooking thingy he wanted. It was the third time he left the cook book open to the page with this wire mesh sieve device. I took the hint and started looking around while shopping but couldn’t find the damn thing anywhere. Finally found one today hidden on the bottom shelf of the cooking stuff at our local $1 store — love when I find things there.
Thought I’d cruise around and check out some of the weblogs I have on my blogrolling list. I admit I am not as strict as some bloggers about which sites I add. Nor do I visit all of them on a regular basis. I do stop by at some frequently; others occasionally.
Here’s the 411 from some of my blogroll links:
I steered her toward a survival guide just to make sure she knew all the poop about these loonies among us.
Diane could be enjoying some fine dining tonight. With a pal like Kali doing the hunting, Diane will never fear of going without.
Don’t, Don’t Don’t - Mel is dispensing free advice when she should be making bucket-loads of dough from this information about on-line stores.
Picture this: it’s October 14, 2006 and MacBro confesses this startling piece of info. Yeah, Yeah, most guys have been to Cape Cod; some have hairy palms to prove it.
I can relate to DragonLady’s lament. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
From almost half-way around the world Peety poses the ultimate question. Just who is this Stacy Ferguson woman?
Tisha Sharp made me stop and reflect. When I read, “her words became crytoquotes,” I had a lump in my throat. Brava Tisha for your compassion.
I know the feeling this guy is writing about. “I’m surfing on BlogMad again . . . first time in a couple weeks and I’ve come to realize that I haven’t been really reading anything that I’ve come across on it. I’m sure there are a lot of people who come across the Tales, both on BlogMad and BlogExplosion who don’t give a rat’s ass about it . . . so, you know I don’t really feel too bad.”
I’m right with you on that one. Not many of those surfers give a rat’s ass. By the way, your scribblings are mighty fine reading.
How does The Presurfer keep pumping out so many quirky links to slap you in the face — or make you wet your pants — or make you a true believer? I am truly amazed at this guy’s daily output.
So give me your best harrumph and laugh, ha ha, at me. I am enjoying The View. Whether you like Rosie or not, I’m waiting for the fur to fly when she finally goes head to head with Elisabeth.
And another reason I like Rosie, she puts her money where her mouth is — and let’s you know about it too.
You know I like to shop but did you know you can give me your advice?
Crystal’s on a mission to connect his head to his body. You can do it Crystal. Just think of the search as therapeutic.
Ouch, some people may call it a bitch slap. Truth hurts sometimes especially when Sassy Sadie is telling it like it is. Pay attention to her. You might learn a thing or two about weblogs.
Woe is me! I missed the September 24, 2006 final tappity-tap big finish of this guy. He’s posting his favourites so think of it as lessons to study over and over until you get the steps right.
Phew, enough HMmmming for one day. I am quietly focusing now on my daily affirmation: “Everyone needs a little HMmmm in his life once in a while.”
