Vase collection
People collect all kinds of things. I’ve seen collections of Pez dispensers, bottles, clocks, finger nail clippings to name just a few.
So why do I get razzed when I tell people I have a vase collection?
It’s a useful collection. I do put flowers and stuff into the vases. Often, I take odd things like a wine decanter or coffee pot and stick a few flowers into them as well.
A vase doesn’t have to be a vase to be a vase, you know.
Lots of times, the vases I buy are from my shopping expeditions.
Here’s two of my latest finds (click on the photo to see a larger version of the vase).
A bit rococo/cherubic for my tastes as compared to the solid granite rectangular vase which is my current favourite.
So back off monkey-boy. You collect your pet rocks and let me collect vases, okay?
