Lazy day reflections
This is just a lazy, hot July 1, 2006 Canada Day post.
Lazy in that’s how I’m feeling. Lazy in that it’s unseasonably hot today.
Lazy because it’s Canada Day — a holiday for me marking the beginning of our glorious Vancouver summers.
I’m not usually overly patriotic but today I am. Proud to be fourth generation Canadian. Happy to live in Vancouver — one of the world’s best cities. Happy to have my family and friends. I guess, just plain goofy proud and happy kinda lazy guy today.
Taking time to bless the Creator for all he/she provides everyone on our planet. Also remembering my personal affirmation: “the universe is abundant and so am I.”

Also, giving a howdy hat tip to fellow bloggers over at Diane’s Stuff — especially those playing her Dead Guy on the Sidebar game.
Wishing y’all a proud-to-be-American July 4 Independence Day celebration too.
O Canada.
