Weenie wagon sighted
I am shocked and appalled.
First Safeway opens from 8 am to midnight, seven days a week. Then Shoppers Drug Mart turns into a 24-hour pharmacy/convenience store.
Today, at 4th and Vine I had to avert my eyes. Was it the bright sunshine or just my vivid imagination. Under the bright blue umbrella, it was truly a hot dog cart!
Can you imagine? In Kitsilano? On 4th Avenue? A weenie wagon?
The only positive aspect to the weenie wagon is that the cart is a new model — one which barbeques the hot dogs and doesn’t hold them in a luke-warm dirty water tank.

I bought a fully loaded weenie just to make sure the quality was up to the expected 4th Avenue standards. I’ve been burping onions all afternoon.

New header I see. Nice. I’ve never in my entire life had a weenie from a weenie wagon. I’m reminded of Meryl Streep in “Falling In Love”- Chili- a little more chili- a little more.
