Take heed from one who knoweth. The one with true blogging knowledge hands down definitive blogging commandments.

Samantha Burns with fiery finger has carved ten commandments for bloggers.

I share with you the first Burns commandment:

i) Thou shalt not commit link whoring.

Yikes, I say. Nay forsooth, not yikes but damnation for I think I have broken this first commandment!

Forsooth, what Sam sayeth is most truthful and sometimes even humourous!

And just in case these don’t put the fear of Sam in you, this blogger adds more commandments for one to follow.

What’s a blogger to do? Flagellate oneself with thy mouse? Refuse to idolize thy favourite bloggers? Raise my hands in supplication and submit to thy blogging directives?

Maybe yes. Maybe no. Here in my HMmmm world, I will read and digest. I will learn from the sages. I will embrace these truths and take them to heart.

Most of all, I will keep on HMmmming. Because surely as one can use commandments to live by, everyone needs at least one good HMmmm every day, don’t you think?
