I tapped the site before the newspapers
Back in January, I posted this entry: "Of tappers and titles"
In today’s Vancouver Sun newspaper, a front page article noted the site is the work of Vancouver graduate students at Simon Fraser University.
The Song Tapper site lets you add to a growing database of songs.
All you do is tap (and it is suggested you hum along while you tap) with your spacebar to the beat of your song. When you have finished tapping, the program matches your taps to existing taps and pulls up a list of similar tapped songs. If your tapping isn’t in the list, you can add it to the database.
Good on you SFU students! Another first for good of Vancouver leader of the pack people.
