Prayers for Preston
In mid-January, legendary musician Billy Preston was in a Mayo Clinic facility in Arizona recovering from a “catastrophic” case of Pericarditis, an infection of the sac that encloses the heart. He is also unable to speak due to an emergency tracheotomy.
Subsequent news reports to date indicate he is now recovering from this serious illness.
The 57-year old Preston has toured with the Rolling Stones, was a member of Eric Clapton’s band, and played the organ for the Beatles on their song “Get Back.”
His hits include, “You Are So Beautiful To Me,” “Nothing From Nothing Leaves Nothing,” and “Will It Go Round In Circles?”
