Pep talk before your colonoscopy
Colonoscopy — not a terribly intimidating kind of word — that is until you’ve had the pleasure of having one!
From personal experience, just let me say, “ouch, does it hurt!”
But behind the pain, there is great benefit if your doctor recommends you have a colonoscopy. Early detection of colon cancer is the first line of defense in defeating it.
This public service announcement injects a little humour into a serious matter.
