Is your blog really boring, stupid, or ugly?
I have a twisted interest in bloggers who dare to submit their sites for peer review. My previous post "Do you dare get smacked?" mused about the intensity of the reviewers on this site.
Now I’ve stumbled upon Shitty Blogs. This site features reviews of blogs that are really boring, stupid, or ugly.
Not only do they review submitted weblogs but they also include a rating scale so visitors to the site can weigh in with their rating of how shitty or not shitty the reviewed weblog is. Yikes, too much anxiety for me here.
Here’s how they describe what they do:
Some blogs are good, but most are bad.
Shitty blogs reviews the worst, especially those that take themselves to seriously. We want to have fun making fun of blogs and hope to entertain those tired of the mundane swamp of blogs that flood the internet.
At the very least, they do have a sense of humour about themselves. They say, “We love getting comments and emails from those who think Shitty Blogs is shitty.”
Now that’s an awfully non-shitty up-beat attitude to have! If you don’t agree with them at least the give you the option to e-mail shit on them. I’m sure their e-mail in-box is a laugh a minute!
