My sister-friend Brenda arrived in Vancouver in the late afternoon on March 25, 2005. She flew in from Regina to attend our niece’s wedding this weekend.
I had the top down on the car (even though the heater was on full blast).
Brenda wrapped her scarf around her head like a babushka — one can’t get wind in the ears — makes for earaches, dontchaknow!
Brenda came from a few feet of snow in Regina to the blossoms and blooms of an early Vancouver spring.
It’s been a while since the two of us have laughed and giggled together so I’m looking forward to her visit.
