New Yorker Festival celebrates art and ideas
Just when I felt most intimidated by the offerings of Spectropolis, I came upon event taking place the same weekend in New York, October 1 to 3rd.
It’s the Fifth Annual New Yorker Festival, a weekend celebration of arts and ideas.
The promo says the festival “once again offers an eclectic lineup of readings, talks, discussions, and excursions with some of today’s most gifted and provocative writers, artists, filmmakers, actors, comedians, cartoonists, gourmands, journalists, and statesmen.
This year’s Festival puts a special emphasis on politics and the extraordinary world events of the past year, with discussions ranging from prospects for peace in the Middle East to the race for President.”
If I lived in New York, would I be torn to have to choose between the two?
- Spectropolis: Geeks, technology, WiFi?
- New Yorker Festival: Eclectic lineup of readings, talks from gourmands et al?
- I’ll toss a loonie right now to decide. You call it, heads or tails?
From a scientific HMmmm to a literary HMmmm.
Did you HMmmm heads or tails?!
